2023 Cops and Kids Christmas

About 65 families, with 130 children, arrived at the Lawrenceville Walmart where they paired with an officer to walk aisles of toys, bikes and clothes, meet Santa and take pictures with the Coca-Cola Polar Bear.

The event allows parents to put gifts under the tree for children who would otherwise miss out, said Connie Chesser, who as president of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 66 helps organize the event.
